An increase in Trade Balance Deficit on Registered* Goods in August, 08/2019 by 2% compared to July, 07/2019

Exports in Goods

Exports slightly increased in August, 2019 by 0.1% compared to July, 2019. While it decreased by 8% compared to August, 2018 and reached USD 82.3 Million.

Exports to Israel increased in August, 2019 by 1% compared to July, 2019 and it represented 93% of total exports in August, 2019.

On the other hand, exports to other countries decreased by 9% during the same period compared to July, 2019 and reached USD 5.9 Million.

Imports in Goods

Imports increased in August, 2019 by 1% compared to July, 2019. While it decreased by 2% compared to August, 2018 and reached USD 482.4 Million.

Imports from Israel increased by 6% in August, 2019 compared to July, 2019 and it represented 61% of total imports in August, 2019.

On the other hand, imports from other countries decreased by 5% compared to July, 2019.

Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 2% in August, 2019 compared to July, 2019. While it decreased by 1% compared to August, 2018 and reached USD 400.1 Million.
